Who processes your data

Avanto BV, trading as Privacy Telephone, Herentalsesteenweg 25/1, 2460 Kasterlee, Belgium, company number BE 1000.464.334, is the data controller.

What we process

When you order: your name, your billing and delivery address, your email address, the contents of your order and the amount. When you pay: confirmation of your payment and a reference to the transaction at our payment partner. We never see or store your card or bank account details.

When you visit our site, technical data needed to display it are processed, such as your IP address and browser type. We use no advertising or tracking cookies and do not follow you across other websites.

Why, and on what basis

To carry out your order, ship your device and keep you informed: performance of the contract. To issue your invoice and keep our accounts: legal obligation. To keep our site and systems secure and working: legitimate interest. We do not use your data for advertising and do not sell it to anyone.

Who we share it with

Only with parties needed to handle your order: Stripe for payment, Resend for sending email, our hosting partner for the website and database, and the carrier that delivers your parcel. Each receives only what is necessary and may not use your data for its own purposes. We also share data with our accountant and, where legally required, with the authorities.

How long we keep it

Invoices and accounting records are kept for seven years, as the law requires. Order and customer data are kept for the duration of the warranty period and as long as needed to handle a dispute. Technical logs are deleted within a few months.

Security

The connection to our site is encrypted. Invoices are held in protected storage accessible to administrators only. Access to customer data is limited to those who need it.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, have it corrected or erased, have processing restricted, obtain your data in a readable file, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Send your request to the address shown on your order confirmation or invoice. We reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, https://www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

Changes

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
